The Address

Kralja Tomislava 12

21000 Split · Croatia

Set against the eastern walls of Diocletian's Palace, two minutes' walk from the Peristyle Square and three from the Riva. Pin the address into Google Maps and you'll find us — but the building's narrow door is easy to miss, so see Finding Us below before you arrive.

By Air

From Split Airport (SPU)

Approximately 25 km · 25–40 min from the Old Town

Our Private Shuttle — The Easy Way
A pre-arranged transfer with our trusted driver, picking you up directly at airport arrivals. €40 paid to the driver. Let us know your flight details when booking your stay so we can have someone waiting for you.
Official Airport Shuttle Bus — The Cheap Way
Departs 20 minutes after each flight, dropping at the central station in the city centre — a 5–10 minute walk to our rooms. Fare is €6–8 per person. The most reliable budget option.
Uber & Bolt — Best App-Based Way
App-based rides are our recommended option in town — transparent pricing in the app, no negotiation, easy payment. From the airport: typically €30–50 depending on demand. The best balance of price and convenience for most arrivals.
Local Taxis — Last Resort
Public taxis at the airport rank are not recommended. Prices range from €40 to €100 and vary widely between drivers. Always agree the price before getting in — this is essential.
By Land or Sea

From Bus, Train & Ferry Stations

Split's main bus station, train station and ferry port all sit right next to each other on the eastern edge of the Old Town — a short, scenic walk from our door.

From the Bus Station — 10 min walk
Walk along the harbour toward the Riva, follow the Palace's southern wall, then turn left into the Old Town. We're a few steps further along Kralja Tomislava.
From the Ferry Port — 8 min walk
Arriving by ferry from Hvar, Brač, Vis, Šolta, Korčula or Italy? Step off the boat and walk along the Riva — Oblivion is just around the eastern end of the Palace walls.
From the Train Station — 10 min walk
The train station sits beside the bus station and ferry port. Same walk along the Riva — pleasant in any weather.
Driving

By Car

Driving into Split is easy — the A1 motorway runs straight from Zagreb (~4 hours), Zadar (~1.5 hours) and points south. The historic Old Town, however, is largely pedestrianised: cars cannot drive up to our door. Park nearby (see below) and walk the final few minutes through some of the most beautiful streets in Europe.

If you're renting a car for day trips, it's often easier to collect it on the day you need it and return it the next day, rather than parking it during the in-town part of your stay.

Where to Leave the Car

Parking

⚠   Critical   ⚠

Stopping or parking in front of our building — even for a few seconds — is strictly forbidden. The street is covered by traffic cameras, and any vehicle left at the door will receive an immediate fine. There are no exceptions.

Need to drop off luggage? You can briefly stop your car around Park Đardin (a one-minute walk from our door) to disembark bags before parking elsewhere. Stopping in front of our building remains strictly forbidden.

We do not offer on-site parking. Diocletian's Palace has no private parking lots inside its walls — only public parking in the surrounding streets. Below are the closest options.

Oblivion Parking
Parkplatz Ulica Tolstojeva — Our Top Recommendation · 5–10 min walk
Weekdays: just €0.70 per hour. Weekends and public holidays: free. The best balance of price, availability and convenience for most stays.  View on Google Maps →
Parking Split — Close Paid Lot
A close paid lot to our door, with hourly rates from €1 per hour. Often full during summer — worth checking, but don't count on it as your only plan.  View on Google Maps →
Free Street Parking — Around Fort Gripe
5 minutes downhill to our door  ·  10 minutes back uphill to the car. Generally safe and free — this is where we recommend our guests park whenever possible. In peak summer you may need a few minutes to find a spot.  View on Google Maps →
Stari Plac 1 — Public Parking · 10 min walk
A public parking lot further out from the Old Town. Useful as a back-up when other options are full.  View on Google Maps →
Stari Plac 2 — Public Parking · 10 min walk
A second Stari Plac lot, similar pricing and feel to Stari Plac 1.  View on Google Maps →
Riva Parking — Premium Waterfront · 3 min walk
Right on the seafront, just three minutes from our door. Significantly more expensive than the other options — use only when nothing else is available.  View on Google Maps →

The Last Few Steps

Self Check-In & Arrival

We send your keybox code and step-by-step check-in instructions via WhatsApp (or email, if you prefer) 24 hours before your arrival. Check-in is simple: a small keybox at the building entrance, your code opens it, and your room key is waiting inside.

A quick reminder: Oblivion is on the top floor of a protected Old Town building — approximately 80 steps over four floors, no elevator. The climb is part of the experience, with windows along the staircase opening onto the ancient walls of the Palace. See The Rooms for the full note.
