Oblivion sits on the top floor of a protected Old Town building — above the bustle, with no street noise, no bar crowds and no shared walls with restaurants. By heritage law no elevator can be installed inside these walls, so the climb is approximately 80 steps over four floors, worth knowing in advance.
The reward begins on the way up. Windows along the staircase open directly onto the ancient walls of Diocletian's Palace — by the time you reach your door, you've already glimpsed pieces of the Empire, and arrived at the quietest, most private corner of the city.
"Warm Roman-red tones and modern rustic interiors, with sea, islands and the terracotta rooftops of the ancient Palace beyond the windows — a room that holds you between the Adriatic and the Empire."

"A serene retreat in soft Paris-blue tones, with a quiet city park beyond the windows and a generous, beautifully appointed bathroom waiting at the end of the day."

On Peristyle Square — the heart of the Palace
Breakfast is served at Restaurant Lvxor, set right on Peristyle Square — one of Split's most iconic and beautiful spots, in the very heart of Diocletian's Palace. Just two minutes' walk from your door.
If breakfast was included in your booking (Booking.com, Expedia, etc.), we'll hand you a voucher at check-in. Present it to the staff at Lvxor and choose between two options: a lighter cereal-based breakfast, or a fuller continental with a hot egg dish.
If breakfast wasn't part of your booking, it's available as a paid extra — just let us know in advance and we'll arrange it for you through our agreement with Lvxor.
